Have fresh Myrrhis odorata seeds

Büllingen, Belgium(Zone 6b)

These seeds must be fresh, so you can use them until end October. It's a herb, but it is also very nice in the garden. A perennial

What a beautiful plant. If I plant it this fall will it return in the spring? If it would I would love some seeds. Look at my list and see if there is anything there you'd like to trade for, or I'd gladly send a SASE. Vicki

The seeds must be sown outside, because they need cold to germinate. In spring the plants will come up and will stay for many years. It's very hardy. First year it becomes not so big, but mine is in the second year 80 cm wide, it's flowering early in the season and the leaves can be eaten from april until first frost.
SASE wo't work, because american stamps are useless in Belgium. Maybe you can collect some seed of the Rudbeckia serotina for me.

I'd be glad to send you some black eyed susans. They are still blooming, so it will be the end of Sept before they are ready. I'll let you know when I am ready to send them. How many would you like? Vicki

Hello Vicki,

My garden is quite big, so normally I try to raise 5 plants of a perennial. I don't know how big the seed of the black eyed susans is and whether it germinates well. Half a teaspoon will probabely do.
How many seeds you want from the Myrrhis odarata? They are really big (1 - 1,5 cm).
Please d-mail your address, so I can send them to you asap.
Jonna
