I have some from years past that I put in a large container for fall decor, but I need more, can't find any, and can't even tell people what I want! Can anyone id this?

Another view. This has a purplish black seedhead and grass like leaves on a tall stem. Grows in ditches, all of which got mowed this year here. SIGH.

NO idea what they call any of it!
Grows in the ditches here. I keep my ditches mowed down. On the next property to mine though they have tons of it. It is a pretty grass.
