Hi everyone. I'm a little late introducing myself. I've been reading a lot this summer but just started posting so here I am to explain who I am. :-)
I live in a suburb of Philadelphia. Just moved here in May from a rowhouse in the city and I'm really spreading my gardening wings! Till now, my garden consisted of container-grown veggies flowers in my postage-stamp back yard. The new house is a wonderful 1929 Craftsman style bungalow and I'm planning a nice unfussy cottage garden on the sunny side along the driveway.
Himself and I just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. We have 5 children, 2 girls and 3 boys, ages 10 to 20.
I'm learning a lot about plants from everyone here. More important, this site feels more like "home" than anyplace I've been on-line since Prodigy in the early 90s.
Glad to be here!
