Starting Asparagus from Seed

Hi,
I have about 35 crowns growing and a couple of them are females, making red seed berries. Has anyone started seeds and had success with it? If so please share some guidelines for doing this. I appreciate the help.

Very easy, but takes forever! How many asparagus can you host?

as many as I want, I have 4 acres!
