oh, twisted where? facing backwards? or turned up in the hip, like a strain?

first get some kind of rub with a pain reliever, like menthol. once he feels better, he may put enought weight on it to give you a better idea of the location and extent of the injury.

how old is the chick?

i had one injured at day one, the hen stepped on it. took several days of rubbing and now he is fine. keep your chin up!

the next thing i would put on it is some kind of healing ointment rub. arnica montana is one of the homeopathy ointments for strains that works on my chickens. just think of what you would put on your sprain to HEAL, not just kill the pain. carefully rub everywhere. once you get his leg feeling better AND more limber, then try to turn it correct.

now design yourself a stouter splint that will stay on. maybe the bandaid splint with a small piece of wood in between [broken popsicle stick?]

keep it on for several days, DONT take it off...
