Does anyone have any experience with manual push reel mowers? In particular, has anyone tried to use one on a St. Augustine lawn? I am contemplating getting one but I have seen some manufacturer's caveats about St. Augustine grass, and was wondering if it is really practical. I was looking at the Sunlawn MM2. It is a bit heaver than the typical push mowers, which I read was actually a benefit with St Augustine lawns.

Manual reel mower?
The only way a mower like that will benefit St. Augustine grass is that it will never get cut. SA is not conducive to using push reel mowers. Take this from someone who has had to do it.
