Noticed this bird in my backyard yesterday afternoon (North Central Texas) Maybe some species of crane or heron? Despite me working under and around him for several hours, he/she was still on the same limb at sunset. Thought maybe he was watching for a fish to grab out of the swimming pool. My eyesight is not so great anymore, so I had to get the camera and zoom in for a closer look.
