Droopy Dill

My dill is kind of 'lanky' right now and keeps falling over. (the rain hasn't helped it either)

Should I stake it or would it be ok to give it a severe hair cut this close to fall?

Are you wanting seed from this plant ? If not you can cut it back any time, use the cuttings or dry them for later.
