I'm collecting seed of my Seashore mallow (Kosteletzkya virginica) and the last bunch had a couple of those pesky seed weevils. I have read that freezing the seed for a few weeks will kill the larvae inside the seed. In your experience, does this work and do you manage to get a good percentage of viable seed?
Any other tips?
I'm wanting to sell some of the seeds on the the Dave's marketplace so I want to be very sure that I am selling good seed. My first two harvests were clean so I may just sell those if need be.
Thanks for the help,
Danita
