great variety of philodendron bipinnatifidum leaves

I have seen philodendron bipinnatifidum leaves that are deeply split and others with hardly any split at all (more like ruffles).
Why are they so different? Is it just a variety in the plant? 5 of my plants look like in between the two extremes and my 6th plant is deeply split. I don't have any that are barely split.
