I was just reading through a thread UrbanBonsai started regarding using an old hottub as a pond. I have an old one that is taking up space on my patio. I was thinking about the problem of blocking all the jets in it and was wondering if I could use mine as a bog garden. I know bog gardens need slow drainage, so would this work?
Here's the tub. It's 4'x5' and about 2 1/2 ' deep.
Here's the inside. I could block most of the jets and leave a couple for drainage. It would be set in the ground, plus, I have clay soil that is slow draining anyway.
