I cleaned some beds out this weekend and have some mixed iris, purple and yellows. They are all mixed together. Let me know if you have any interest.

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

I have an iris that I found at an old empty farm house. It is purple and there is also a light yellow color. I don't know anything about them other than I am assuming they are old. The house had been empty for years and it had iris and a tall siberian type iris white in bloom. Glad I dug them up because not long after that they tore the house down and planted corn where it was standing. I also have hybrid iris I am dividing.

I have Wild Iris (Dietes iridioides), Walking Iris (Neomarica gracilis), and Yellow Walking Iris (Neomarica longifolia). Let me know if you like to trade for any of those (or anything else on my trade list).

Thanks!!!

Hey Shell!
I love all those iris, but none are hardy for me, zone envy here : () Is there a way these can be stored through our winters? I also have a plant room for tropicals. Would they survive in there you think?

I am unsure. I bet if you kept them in a pot and just moved them indoors before it freezes it would be ok. I have traded them before to colder places and so far no one has mentioned them dying. I always tell people i am willing to resend what dies on them so i would think they would take advantage of that if it necessary. I'd be happy to send you a few of each to try if you want to take the chance. It does on occasion freeze here but it is rare. I assume that is the breaking point for these guys. I have never tried these indoors though. If you do decide to give them a try... you have to let me know if they make it :) If i have anything else you'd like to try i'd be happy to send it too. Let me know.

Naked ladies make it in zone 5 just fine, unless this is some different type. Hope not.

Raleigh, NC

have Marshlight, Mme. Chereau, Easter Morn, all historics.

Have Lady Friend - grows like gangbusters in 7a, Burgundy Bubbles, War Chief, City Lights, Loop the Loop, Loyalist, all older varieties, all very hardy for me, but not old fashioned. May have more but I'm sold out of a lot.

Been looking for Naked ladies....the lily kind!
