fertilizer for new EE?

North Richland Hills, TX(Zone 8a)

I have a new Alocasia macrorrhizos (Upright EE) that's really starting to perk up (seems to love all the rain we've recently had) and I'm wondering what would be the best type of fertilizer, if any, to feed it right now?

Thanks,
Jennifer

How big are those leaves? It's hard to tell. I would use a diluted fertilizer of Miracle Gro with organic nitrogen. My formula is M Gro, Fish emulsion and Super thrive mixed together. Even the new little pups are liking it.

The leaves are probably as big as my hand right now. I planted the bulb about 5 weeks ago, so this is all new baby growth. Thanks for the formula tip - I'll have to pick up some of that stuff (never used fish emulsion or super thrive).
