I am on the Cryystal Coast now if you remember I used to live in Raleigh. Maybe I can make the trip next year. Bev and I did the RU last year in Raleigh and I still lived there, I did not make it there this year as DH nsaid it was too much gas and a few other things happened to keep me away.
I am on the Pamlico Sound at the mouth of the Neuse just accross from Beaufort and Cherry Point.

We are about 30 miles from Morehead and Atlantic Beach in Pamlico County and around the corner from Oriental. Does that help?

gee, I don't know, have a girlfriend who's family is in Rutherford College - and Hickory is a good location - maybe y'all could get a plant swap going - Statesville isn't to bad, either, but y'all probably have swaps potential with folks in Charlotte.
We have a group coming from Va to tour Plants Delight Nursery and Juniper Level Botanical Garden Sept 12-13 if anyone wants to come and do swapping. My house is available for the swap. I'm still digging irises.
