Ok, Mitch. Here we go. Tell us what you did for your "Summer Vacation".

The adventures of Mitch Fitzgerald
Lol - Ok I have been working at Besthesda Church here in OKC, getting the last of my credits done and ready to get started. I have several openings here in OK and everywhere from VA to NM, so I am going to be heading out there and will be somewhere in the greater US.
So that is the short list of what I have been doing!
What no openings back in Texas????? lol
glad things are moving right along for you and I hope the family is doing well too
What kind of credits, Mitch? Are you going to be a pastor?
I am - I am working on my last classes to be a pastor. I have my BA in Church Ministries and am wokring on my MDiv.
If Texas calls we would head back in a heart beat!
That's cool. Both of my grandfathers were Methodist ministers. Not an easy life from what I understand back in those old days. We kids grew up hearing all the stories of growing up in the preacher's household. My parents had us trained. If visitors came to the house, we sat quietly and answered politely if the adults spoke to us.

Congratulations, Mitch! We missed you today, but hopefully you can make the trek back to Texas for the next RU.
Same here - I really missed the RU today but had to get moved into the new office and get things ready for in the morning... everything did not go to plan but in the end it is all working out wonderfully.
Congratulations, Mitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Great news for you Mitch. Hate that TX didn't come through for you. The swap was great but you were missed.
A wunerful, wunerful, wunerful. You were missed not only today but lots of days. Glad you and your family will have your own place.
Where is Lindsay, OK?
Christi
I pulled it up on Mapquest; but not sure this will work.

Seems it is just a little south of OK City.
Thank you ;-)
It is an hour south of OKC - So an hour closer to Dallas area then here - nice small town, small church 170 or so on Sunday morning... just about right for us to get started.
Congrats, Mitch! That is wonderful news.
And yes, we are glad the Lord sent you an hour closer!
Congratulations, Mitch! Those Jr. Highers *need* ministering to badly! LOL I did a stint as an "interim" children's minister while I was in seminary and I really began to think that when children get to be in 5th and 6th grades (and into jr. high), they become demon possessed!! LOL (Okay, not really! The hormones just kick in.)
Have fun in your new position!
Stephanie
Great news Mitch, we missed you yesterday though, we hope it will go work out just wonderful for you.
Josephine.
Mitch, Sorry we didn't have you at the meet. I had some plants for you. I hope your new local has a great space for a garden.
Thank you all - I need some place for plants... 40 some pots right now plus what I have in the Temp. bed at my in-laws... :-)
Sunday went great and it is going to be a good plae to be.
Mitch
Mitch, I'm so glad to hear what's goin with you. Congratulations!
Mitch, I grew up in that part of Okla. and you're going to just love it there. The people are so nice and friendly. It's a great place to raise a family.
Shirley
Thank you Mary - I hope to see you again sometime in the middle soon!
Shirley - Wonderful, good to hear - everyone we have meet is just so very nice and the town is just what a small town should be. Even kept the second smallest WalMart in the nation - and we love it.
Mitch glad to see you are getting settled and sounds like a nice place and the lord will bless you.
Well TA...just thinking about you last weekend. We missed you at the RU in Arlington this year. Hope you are doing ok, and just busy.
