Harper my 4 month old Great Dane has decided she needs to bark...
Unfortunately she doesn't know when to stop!! LOL I know she is barking at things she hears and doesn't know what it is. Yesterday my neighbor was out doing something in the driveway and she could hear their hose and continually barked at it. Today they were packing the car and she wouldn't stop. I have given her treats and pets and "good job" when she stops and then say "quiet no bark". I just don't want it to get out of hand, I do want her to bark when it's appropriate. Sometimes she will bark with the treat or toy in her mouth!! The stinker LOL!
Any tips? I won't use a bark collar so please don't recommend it and spraying her (read that somewhere) with a squirt bottle won't help, she likes to get squirted!
