Can someone ID this, I think, begonia?

Navarre, FL(Zone 8b)

This came unlabeled with some other Rex begonias in a Coop here. Does anyone know what it is called? The leaves have gotten really large. Bigger than my hand all spread apart.

I think that's a coleus.

Oh, LOL, I got so excited when I saw the thumbnail. I thought cool begonia. Yes, it is a coleus, a Kong coleus. They are great too but annuals unless you have a warm place over winter for it.

Thanks, guys. I thought Coleus' were small. This is really big. I think I will try to keep it alive over the winter just to see what it will do.
Thanks,
Pam

Keep pinching the new growth back, take the little center of 2 baby leaves out on top. It will keep branching and get nice and full. Coleus come in all sizes now and all colors, even sun ones. They are such fun. Dale always has the best coleus pictures.

Hey Kell, we keep running into each other.

Kong Coleus get very large but yours looks like some sun tolerant variety.

Here is a Kong coleus in an 18 inch pot.

What do ya think guys? Think it's a match?

Powder Springs, GA(Zone 7b)

Woo hoo! Some pretty big leaves (height is not that big but it looks young). You should post this over in the coleus forum and see if someone might know which one it is.

Oh Butch, your wife is going to start to wonder. LOL I love your coleus! Are they in a latex pot?

Those are huge leaves, Pamela. I was thinking it looked like this one of mine, but I guess not. So pray tell, was the coop for coleus too? I hope you can winter that one over. They start to decline if you let them go to seed so you may want to snip off any flowers ASAP when you see them start.

Kell,
It does look a lot like yours. I pinched the centers earlier today. No, the Co-op was Rex begonias only. But this is still a pleasant surprise. It was only about one inch in the bottom of the box with tiny roots. So I planted it. I plant everything I receive from mailed plants. If a piece breaks off, I start rooting it. So when this little guy kept growing and growing, my curiosity peaked. I really thought all coleus' were small. Shows how little I know.

Pam,
Yes it is the PF referenced above.
It doesn't have the form of a Kong and is similar to these http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/31220/
Look at the age of that one. (The coleus not the son.)
