Beautiful! My favorite melon.
I had quite a time figuring out how to tell when this variety would be ripe, then I saw that this one had just turned color from a blue-green to a light gold.
It doesn't slip.

I got some seeds this year in a trade so I will have to give them a try. Thanks for the pic. There is nothing better than garden picked melon. mmmmm

My son-in-law called the Charantais Melon "a cantalope on steroids!"
The flavor is intense.
