If you live in the Gainesville/Sherman area & have 6-8 bales of straw or 3-4 bales of alfalfa that is old,moldy & generally unusable for anything but composting please contact me. I need it for layering of raised beds for my vegie garden & tired of paying $7 a bale for straw & close to $11 for alfalfa. LMK what you would like in trade or compensation for it & I'll be glad to get it if I don't already have it. Have lots of Japanese I.Nil seeds, double purple datura seeds,pink Texas salvia seeds & a ton of others. Just drop me an D-mail w/what you have & what you want. Carol, I wish you good luck finding the straw and hay, they are wonderful as mulch, and they enrich the soil, they are very hard to find around the metroplex, we use hay bales at the manger scene at our church and i usually get those after Christmas.
