Not my best Idea.

Klamath River, CA

Monday I had to go to Medford Or. so I thought I would swing on up to the Klamath Basin for some birding. Tuesday I went to the Lower Klamath Res. which is normally good for a good variety of birds but it was all but dried up with very little bird life around so I headed down to Tule Lake only to find that it was closed to the public due to a lightning caused fire that started Monday afternoon. I did get a few pics (13).....................juvenile Double Crested Cormorant.

These Pelicans are sitting on a fountain head. I wish I could have waited until the fountain was turned on.
