Dogs and apples.

Coast range of, OR(Zone 8b)

So...I read somewhere that dogs are not supposed to eat apple seeds. Is this true?

I was just outside for approximately 1/2 hour weeding and in that time both my dogs ate three apples each. The apples are ones that have fallen off the tree and I'm not particularly concerned about those 6 apples. What I AM concerned with is that I just got off work after a 12 hour shift and I know the dogs spent several hours outside while I was at work and I don't have any idea how many apples they are eating in a day. The apples have been ripe for about 2 weeks and this is just the first of 6 trees that I have.

I am trying to do the math on this and I seems astounding to me how many apples they could be consuming.

Do I need to be worried?
