I cannot for sure id this hummer. If you can't see it well, it has a black tip on the tail, a grey body and throat.
Has anyone in Tx. grown ocotillo, I am getting ready to make my shopping list for fall to attract hummers, it is recommeded?
Thanks,
Peg
ID PLEASE
I've heard that's a difficult plant to keep going and not many places have it. But I'd still like to try it someday. Here they like Mexican Firebush, lots of salvias, Turk's Cap, Flame Acanthus, Red Yucca, Cross Vine, Esperanza, Desert Willow, red Pentas and Shrimp Plant.
