Snout Moth (Conchylodes salamisalis)
I'm not sure where the name, "Snout Moth" came from, but I prefer the common name, "Blush Conchylodes", at Bugguide and MPG, because the peach colored blush just erupted in my camera and I was amazed to find it at my porch light. I knew what it was because I had seen a photograph of it taken in the extreme southern tip of Texas. I don't know what it was doing this far into the heart of the "Republic", but I hope it finds host material down in the canyon among the springs.
Lovely shot!
