Anyone know what this creepy stuff is? It appeared today on a few berries & leaves. I plan to hand pick them off tomorrow.

Thought of something (can't sleep the house is still too warm). I noticed that you like growing roses and the two hosts, to complete the insidious cycle, are the cypress family and the rose family. See link above.
Oh no...What do I do?
This is a bad year for Hawthorn rust in Alberta. I don't know why. Others are stripping off all the diseased leaves and are burning. They are also burning all remaining leaves that fall from the tree in the fall. ie. don't compost or use for mulch.
I think I might have it too.
Thanks ladies. I will stop freaking out and make sure to to a good fall clean-up. I might look at spraying the tree next spring.
