The outside of the pepper, not the inside. Are they still good to can? or use?

HELP! My bananna peppers have purple-ish black streaks on ..
Could it just be the pepper is getting more mature, I have a sweet pepper that is getting some purple streaks too. Could just be the variety of pepper.

That is good to know. I have veggie gardened for over 30 years- but this is the first ever growing peppers for my roadside stand( I don't like them-lol)
