Do you have a Blue Hardy Hibiscus?

(Karen) Frankston, TX(Zone 8a)

I'm looking for one! I discovered through research that they are near impossible to find to buy, if anyone knows of a source please let me know. I believe they originate from Australia. It would be the jewel in my crown to get one, LOL! LOVE that color!

You're welcome. ^_^

They're all over the place at nurseries here, so if you want a larger plant you might see if one of your nurseries could order one for you, I'm sure some of the wholesale growers here would ship things to TX.

Before too many people get their hopes up I should add also they're not really very hardy--slightly hardier than the tropicals but still not exactly hardy, I think mostly I see them listed as good to 9a although in my experience they don't get damaged much at all by frost here and the tropicals do, so I suspect they'd probably be fine in zone 8 as well.

Mesa, AZ(Zone 9b)

I was wondering about that myself, didn't think they too hardy. Very commonly available here.

College Station, TX(Zone 8b)

I got some from HD last spring. They've done very well once I took them out of direct sunlight and watered them like I do everything else (daily). They don't seem to like Texas sun. I understand they originated in Austrailia.

Wow I need one of those. Hope someone gets seeds.

Beautiful.
