I have many large passi vines in my yard and recently ordered from Logee's a "White Wedding" passi. Guess which vine the fritts are on? It is only a couple of feet high and will not sustain them. I put the cats in a critter keeper with the leaves that they were on and I have added some Maypop leaves in there as well. Any recommendations on what to do or if this will work? Thanks,
Annie
can I move a GF cat to another passi?

Some cats do not like to change larval host plants. They might not mind and will eat the other leaves - so keep your fingers crossed.
You could also place just those leaves into a separate cage with the cats to 'force' them to taste and hopefully eat them - if you see that they are ignoring them best put them back on their favorite host.
I have various passiflora species and some the cats will not touch at all! :o(

I haven't had a problem switching cats between species. One thing I heard about the Frits is they have a hard time going between native and hybrids or vice versa. Still, I always say if they're hungry enough, they'll eat it. I've fed mine three different kinds of passiflora (incarnata, lutea, caerulea), sometimes at the same time, and they don't seem to have a preference.

Small hungry cats should eat without problem. If they are large they may pupate, but if they weren't ready, they will eat also.
