Hi UU. Sorry I can't help, as I think I only have the same variety of thrift as you do, but I know what it's like to get no response, so thought I'd get your post to the top of the list again. When you say pinks, do you mean dianthus? I have 2 varieties of that, but the roots don't seem to spread along with the plants, and I've been unsucessful so far trying to root cuttings. Will let you know if I have success in future.

I had seeds which I did not remember, possibly substitutes from a seed exchange: Armeria maritima and A. juniperifolia. I hope they aren't too old. I am puzzled about what the other one will look like.
