What's the latest I can plant Castor beans in zone 8b? I have some that are looking leggy and I wish to replace them.

It may be too late now. I have had those plants and mine always freeze in winter and do not come back in spring.

I have two now in one of my gardens. I know I will have to replant my seeds next spring. You could try it and see what happens. Lin
