I just did that pelvic bone test on Millie & Tillie and they would seem to be girls. Just in case, I'm inspecting the wrong spot mind if I copy Claire and ask for you to tell me your thoughts on some of the following photos?

The main thing, I'm uncertain about are the bumps above their nose that I believe is a silkie characteristic.

Here's a good shot of Millie straight on:

Come to think of it, I think they are too old for the feather testing... and their feet are feathered so I'm not sure what it'll tell you, but here goes just in case!

Millie's feet: she's got 5 toes!

Oh yah and one more thing... Tillie has a little tuft on the top of her head... Since this is the first time I've raised chicks... I'm not sure if this is a chick thing, a silkie thing, or if that is something that is sex specific...

MIllie and Tillie also LOVE to stretch up really tall and flap their wings at eachother... that's not a rooster thing, is it???

my silkie does that too I hope its not a rooster thing I reallt wanted a girl maybe its them just growing into their wings.

The Tillie and Millie chicks totally look silkie!!! Five toes and the strawberry comb thing are silkie characteristics. Along with the dark comb and feet coloring. Looks like partridge coloring?
