I have a keet that is a lot bigger than the rest is it a high possibility this is a roo keet. Same age as the others.

aren't yours mixed colors? you probably have a jumbo there [or a French], esp if it is pearl. then your lavendars will be the slowest growing... they don't differ in size by sex at all. you will know when they start talking who the females are... PUH-PEEP, and CHI-CHI. males just CHI-CHI

I knew it was the way they sound to as to what the boys and girls are. yes this one has a white under and breast.

i just meant, the only differenc ein size is the jumbo breed or French breed. the others shouldn't show a difference till they are like practically full grown.

pertyy cool about elle's photo... i thought the same thing at first, had to do a double take on who posted it!!!

chicks behaving today? i finally sold some, but they came unannounced, and right when Orions speech therapist was coming too... they'll be back later

oh dang it. Ok I understand about them then, maybe he is a jumbo.

Oh gosh since i put the auto feeder out there they are not attacking me. Its not bad I just cant walk thru them with out stepping on one are another one going flying and squawking.

ain't it great ;-) didn't get the coon or the dog. not for lack of trying though... the JGs aren't sick, just protected from the dogs... a guy came by eyeing htem and i must have told him three times they were out of his price range, and kept showing him the duckling which is what his daughter wants anyhow.... he has big tattoos and drive a big truck, maybe he wants big chickens. hope he isn't reading htis LOL

LOL to funny. Them JG are awesome looking birds. That is what i want to raise.

me too. like Doug needs another projcect, he and a friend wnet and got two trmapoline frames from the dump. he plans to circle it with fencing and put a black netting over the top, and some wheels, and Voila! the JGs can free range. well won't be huge, but bigger than 36 sq feet for 18 juvenille jiants!

that is an awesome idea.
