Rum Runner Hibiscus

Orlando, FL

I would very much like to have this hibiscus. Does anyone have it? Fran

Fran, quite a few "regulars" on the hibiscus board have Rum Runner. I don't know about Florida, but in California, it's not too difficult to find at good local nurseries (no big box stores).

Here's a picture of mine :-)

Good luck getting one, I know you'll love it!

I just saw it is a Logee's catalog but didn't note the price. Logee's plants are generally quite tiny, but good and healthy.

Thanks to both of you but was hoping someone would trade of give me a rooted cutting for postage. I have not tried to find it here. Now is the time to root them and I love hibiscus and
even cutting would be fine. Fran

I've never rooted cuttings before :-(

Hi Amarantha00,
You just cut off small limbs and stick them in water and wait. Or use rooting compound and then put in moist soil and they will root . sometime i have luck and others I don't . Fran
