I tossed this together after finding 30 plus cats in one day....LOL
3 sides are mosquito fabric....very fine material from the army surplus. The front and top are exterior weather proof plastic. I was going to use PlexiGlass, but it became too costly.
Top view....I put a small bar of screen in the top for the Monarchs to hang on.
ShadowJack, That is so cool. What kind of cats were they? I can't see if you have the bottom lined. If you lined it with cardboard or brown paper bags, you could then dispose of it as garden mulch.
I see they are enjoying a bigger house, climbing everywhere in there! Great job building that cage! You just simply amaze me!
That's great! I'm going to forward to DH. He has one planned for me, but might like some other ideas.
I built the separate panels the glued the fine screening to each before screwing each together......The Top and the front are both heavy duty weather plastic stretched in on 3 m double stick tape....I purchased the winterizing kit for 6 dollars at a local hardware store......
Thanks for the kind words...I reallly just took several peoples suggestions ( Mostly Debs ) and tossed this thing together.....the next one I build will be painted and more refined.....
