A couple of weeks ago, I started a thread about Gulf Frit cats diet, since they had totally denuded my passie 'Coral Glow'. There have been no new leaves on it since, & the denuded stems are turning brown - is there any hope of survival? Or, is there anything I can do (besides water regularly) to help? This passie is new this year, bought from Logee's, and had just 2 main stems about 5-6 feet tall. Thanks, Samantha
Any Hope?
Samantha,
Don't water much at all--since it has no foliage it doesn't need much water. Too much water will cause root rot. I wouldn't toss it until its totally brown.
Good luck!
Mark
Thanks, Mark ! Our soil is mostly sand, so is extremely (unfortunately) well-draining! It does get some water 2 x week on out irrigation system, but is in a place that gets relatively little! I'll watch it & hope for the best! Thanks! Samantha
