CLOSED: HAVE: seeds for international trade trials

Toronto, ON(Zone 5b)

I know I'm suppose to be studying and posting answers from previous discussion forums (sorry guys), but lately I've been meeting more DG members who are not familiar with international trades because of some restrictions. I'll be willing to send seeds (small) as a trial for those who are not sure whether or not international seeds will reach their US destination or vice versa. I'm also quite new to this, so bare with me. This is a good opportunity for those who are unsure and just want to have some confidence in sending some seeds internationally =) (I was not sure at the beginning whether or not my seeds were going to reach those I traded with, and I constantly worry. I'm more confident now compared to before that small seeds will reach US/international destinations, but I'm still learning how to send cuttings internationally - which is not really advisable...but hey, if you really want the plant and you cannot get it locally......you know the story. AND I thank those many who are cooperative and patient with me and helping me learn how to trade). btw I live in Canada, almost forgot to mention that

***FORGOT TO MENTION: I WILL SEND MY SEEDS TO YOU FIRST. IF MY SEED ENVELOPE DOES NOT REACH YOU, THE TRADE IS VOID (you don't need to send me your seeds - I trust that DG members are honest about receiving their seeds very much. There are alot of nice, cooperative members here am I right? =))

So here's the deal. I have 3 types of seeds..first 3 DG members to post on this forum I will trade or SASE with (if it's SASE send me the same amount of US stamps to send a regular-sized envelope to CANADA - sometimes, some DG members do not want to do trade and just ask for stamps and I can't get US stamps here unless I travel for 4 hours and cross the border). If you want to see if your seeds will reach canada, then we'll do a trade. Once you posted on this forum, I'll d-mail the details/rules/tips on how to send your envelope here. Also mention on this post what kind of seeds you want.

Okay, so for the seeds:

1 package of Alcea rosea "Jet Black", each package about 8 seeds.
1 package of Mina Lobata, each package about 5 seeds.
1 package of Papaver commutatum "Ladybird", about 1/8th of a teaspoon.

Messaging you back I might be late at, as it's exam time for me, so don't take it personally =).

I've had a lot come through packaged in various ways, although I think it can be extremely regional within the U.S. what is and isn't allowed. I'll trade for your Mina Lobata. PLMK what you would like from me. Good luck with your exams! ~F4F

Hi EVR,

I'd like to get the poppy seeds, if you still have them. As I'm in the EU, this will not be a problem. We're allowed to import seeds for personal use!

In return, you can choose whichever you please from my seed list. If there's anything on it that's of interest to you, that is. You can find it here: http://www.freewebs.com/belevenissen-van-een-tuinkabouter/apps/webstore/
If you cannot open it, you can also look at my trade list here at Dave's, but it's a little less up-to-date. If you're interested, please send me d-mail so we can exchange addies.

I've sent seeds to Canada before. Never a problem!

Hope your exams will go well!

I love the Mina Lobata. They are great vines. I have some taking over my mailbox. Planted it early in the spring. Waiting for blooms (and seeds).

I've had problem receiving seeds in 2 instances. I don't know if I'm "flagged" for international mail. I don't need any of the above seeds, but Dmail me if you have others.
