What a great site! If I had time, I'd stay here all day. So far, I've gotten wonderfully useful answers to many of my orchid questions.

Jan23, thank you for the warm welcome. Sorry about being late responding but I'm still learning my way around the different forums. Yes, it has already been informational, esp. with a pesky chicken problem we are having. Re visiting visiting every corner of the site: How long would it take?lol. I return a warm Souther welcome to you. Leeflea51

Dear soapwort243, So kind of you to respond Yes, I do so gardening, esp. orchids and other rather unusual things. We are now on the look foor Gustav. It's getting ominously close at did Katrina and it practically derstroyed a city that I dearly loved. Often I did go there and haven't been able to brinnging myself to since Katrina. In Katrina, we are 350 miles from the Coast and we had sustainned winds of 45-50 mph for several hrs. Lights off in many areas this far were off for days. The friend with whom I live is usually not fearful of storms but this one is causing him some concern. Again, tjhanks for saying hello and do talk to me anytime. Lee

South Milwaukee, WI

I'm saying a prayer that Gustav will not be a problem for you. I've been watching the track. It's such a large storm area. Hope you'll be safe. all my best to you.
