new seedlings!!!

hey everyone i am now the proud dad of two baby seedling plumerias. i got these from Hetty earlier in the summer, and just now got to plat them, and now they have finally germinated!!! thanks, Hetty for the seeds! im excited about these!
please excuse the quality of the picture. it is really blurry because we are in our second straight day of rain and have 95% humidity. plus, i had to take it with my cell phone, because i lost my camera in a plane on the way from Mumbai to Bangalore this summer wen i went to india. so yeah thats my excuse for an aweful picture

Well, I guess I'm a Mom then.lol I had some plumeria seeds in a baggie with liquid seaweed and they finally sprouted. BTW Dutchlady, thanks for the seeds! So I planted 5 of them tonight, but I'm not sure I did it right. I know the wing is supposed to stick out, but is all of it supposed to stick out? That is, is the spot where the wing attaches to the seed supposed to be at the surface of the dirt? If so, I planted too deep.

Oh Dutchlady, that cutting you sent is taking off like a rocket! One side has leaves almost 3 inches long and the other side has leaves about an inch long. I didn't think it would root that fast. Thanks very much. I'm having much better luck with plumerias than I ever did with brugs.

Dutchlady, are you there? Sorry to be persistent, but I'm worried that I planted them too deep.

1cross, I hope you don't mind me barging in on your thread. I just figured if you were discussing seeds, this would be a good place to ask about mine.

It is not really that important - in nature they will just land on that heavier part and sometimes it will get into the soil, but if it is kept damp and warm it will germinate where they lie or where they are buried.

Hmmm. Ok, well I'm exited about these. If these take off I think I'll use them for a Christmas present for one of my SIL who has been to Hawaii.
