finally the blooms are starting...

Brooklyn, NY(Zone 7b)

what a relief... finally getting the blooms to begin... I was given one that was suposed to be a small white... but this couldn't be it as it's not real small blooming.. so it's a hold over from last year... or another gift that's growing .. there must be 100 whites out there... Gordon

Very pretty. White shows up nice against the green foliage.

I have one very similar...should produce a smallish orange fruit?...also had loads of buds and blooms!

Darren..
real lovely... I'll look for the fruits.. looks exactly like mine... same flower ..and the same leaf.. also the same growth habit of plenty of blooms andflowers...although mineareabitslowto actually open... there must be 50-100 buds.. and it only flowers a few at a time.. it will be mid january before they all bloom out..unless it gets it going...which I'm sure it will..
Pull back...and lets see a picture of where it's growing.....
thanks... Gordon

mine is so warm as it is outdoors...blooms come faster than you'd believe! I try to find a wider pic, (35 mm camera) its thru for the season here already tho it still puts out a randome floweer and fruit. Like MG's it needs a lot of water to stay green here, so i lose some buds as well as fruit. Sweet fruit, (really thought it was supposed to be toxic) but the seeds were BITTER...lol juice was nice though, did not get sick. lucky maybe?
:D
