Today is the day! We will leave some time this afternoon, hoping to be in Chicago after the rush hour and close to Iowa before we call it a night!!! wish us luck and prayers for a safe trip!!!

we are here and its 104! something happened to the car around hoover dam! we had a heck of a time making it that last few miles!~At one time we were stalled out up against the cement wall in vegas traffic-it wasnt good!!!!!!

today dh is off buying tools-putting in new alternator and head light-will see if that fixes it. They wanted 600.00 to put one in!!!!!!!!
all goes well we leave here tomorrow and head to Utah to see DH sister for a night then start the trip back-through yellowstone
