I have wanted one for years and am having so much trouble finding one locally. Online they run anywhere from $100.00 to $500.00 plus shipping. I would be more than willing to pay a local DG artisan to weld me one together. I want a large one that will hold around 50 bottles. That is what Eden has. It is just free-form, up to the artist's descretion as to where they place the branches. They are basically just pieces of rebar welded onto a rebar pole, with feet to hold the stand up. I am enclosing a photo from the Garden Art forum posted by DG member Eden100 for the one she purchased in Illinois. As I said, I will surely pay for it.I would love to have it by the RU. If anyone's hubby could do this it would make my day, my year, in fact! Please contact me and let me know. Below is the photo of Eden's. Thanks, Karen

Does anyone in our ET area weld? I want a "bottle tree"
I see you found the one website. Here is another website of a company that is located in Mississippi. The links at the left are for the different sizes and they come with bottles and lights. I would love the large bottle one myself, but I am opting for the regular post/tree trunk type. LouC has one that has differnt blues & greens, with lights.
edited to give the link: http://www.thebottletreeman.com/mambo/

mmmmmm first of glad I didn't know you took that pic sheila and I wasn't near by LMAO
I'm gonna have to check with DH and see if he brought one of the welders with us when we moved then figure out where to get the needed rods to make one and see if I can talk him into making one for me then I can see if I can get him going on making more LOL...I'll show him the pics you both posted for ideas.
They would make a great Canton item!
Ya know.....i bet you could make one using a small tree, cut and set in a base....hmmmmmn...just a thought.

Hey all, I found one! Phyllis, the yard art place next to The Purple Pig Barbeque has them, 35 bottle trees for $75.00. That's the route I'm going.
Great price Karen, post the pic when you get home!
Eyes....you sure could! I am scouring the neighborhood for tree limbs with lots of branches etc. Thought I could use an old cedar post then drill slanted holes and place sturdy branches with limbs in the holes to make my own. I could use screws and wire to secure then sink the post into the ground with a bit of concrete mix.
