CLOSED: Specialty Perennials

Anyone have experience with Specialty Perennials? It's only an on-line source I just found.

Danita: Thanks for the heads-up. I meant to do this after posting my query, but forgot. Lots of negatives on this company.

Southeastern, NH(Zone 5b)

I have ordered from them twice and have never had a problem, just plan on their order taking 2 weeks to get to you. I've gotten mine in 2 weeks with both orders. They have one of the biggest selections of seeds out there, so I end up ordering stuff from there that I can't find anywhere else. Their shipping is very reasonable as well. So reasonable I don't mind placing very small orders with them.

Tampa, FL(Zone 10a)

I have ordered from them. It took two months and a couple of emails to get them to send my seeds.

I suspect they are a small company with too many seed types, that catalogue is huge. I am willing to bet that many of their seeds are not the freshest, since I had a very low germination rate on most of the ones I received.

Not a bad company, just flakes in business.

Thanks to all who responded. I'm still pondering on this one.

Specialty Perennials is affiliated with Hardyplants, which has similar reviews...wouldn't recommend them
