Last year al...only a few aster flowers have opened this year, but the plants are well-budded and promise a repeat performance...I hope the butterflies cooperate again.

Nice photo Jmorth! You really got a great macro shot with the butterfly! Hard to get a good shot until they finally land on something. I was able to get a good photo of a bee on a aster flower also. My image is attached below. Lucky that I did get this shot, because now all the flowers are gone -- cut away by the maintenance people.

Thanks for the compliment on my photo, jmorth! I've recently entered this same photo in a digital print competition with one of my camera clubs, so will let you know of the outcome later this month.
