CLOSED: Have orange sulphur cosmos

MSU, MS(Zone 8a)

Fresh picked orange cosmos. Incredibly easy to grow annual that reseeds. 30 seeds per trade. I am looking for heirloom/older type of tomatoes. I don't need a lot of seeds. I am just wanting to try the different types.

Thanks,

Pat

Hi Pat,

I am not a tomato grower, so I 'm not sure about the one pack of tomato seeds I have. The name on the label is Lycopersicon lycopersicum. I received these in a trade this year.

Carol

Hi Pat,

Are you looking for particular tomatoes? I have lots. Fresh seed later this summer will be from Ace 55 (not strictly an heirloom, but a nice open-pollinated tomato), Brandywine, Rose de Bern (pink Swiss heirloom), Peche Jaune (Yellow Peach), Black Krim, Silvery Fir Tree, Red Zebra, Beaute Blanche (White Beauty), and Lime Green Salad. I'll happily trade any of these, or others if I have something you are particularly interested in, for orange cosmos seed.

Hi Jim,

I would like to try Rose de Bern, Lime green salad and Silvery fir tree.

I can send you plenty of the orange cosmos and I also have bird house gourd seeds if you have any interest in them. Also, Ambrosia corn seeds from Parks Seeds.

I am not sure when you want to do this trade? You said something about late this summer? Whenever you would like is fine. I don't need a lot of seeds of each.

Thanks, Pat

Hi Pat!

That sounds great! If you want, I can send you fresh Silvery Fir Tree seeds right away. In Florida, you can almost certainly still grow some of these this season. It's a great tomato. It's determinate, meaning it only gets to a certain size (about 2-3 feet) and stops growing. For this reason, I don't even grow it in the garden, It gets to sit in a pot on the patio (as does Lime Green Salad). And it produces wonderful baseball-size tomatoes, and lots of them. It's pouring down rain now, but maybe tomorrow I can take a picture and send it to you.

Neither Lime Green Salad nor Rose de Bern have ripe fruit yet. Probably not for another 3-4 weeks. As soon as they do, I can send you fresh seeds from both of them. Just send me a DMail with your mailing address and let me know if you want the Silvery Fir Tree seeds now or with the others.

Hi Jim,

Probably just wait to send them all at once. I am in Florida so I can put them in pots and grow them through the winter probably. If you will send me your address I can send your seeds out tomorrow. My address is:

Pat Murray

Thanks a lot,

Pat

Pat,

Please check your DMail.

Jim
