Hello,
I am interested in the pure white cleome, but I have no Zinnia seeds. Maybe you want to take a look at my have list to see if there is something interesting there for you.
Kind regards,
Jonna
Jonna - Aquilegia Red hobbit would be a good trade. I love the bright red. I like to keep the trades even so I use a measuring spoon. I can send you one full tablespoon of seeds for the same - I think both these seeds are about the same size. Would that be okay? If you want more we can do 2 tablespoons each. Let me know.
Kathy
A tablespoon? Are you sure, or do you mean a teaspoon (4-5ml)? A full teaspoon contains at least 800 seeds and will -even with a bad germination- give you about 100 plants. A tablespoon (15-20ml) contains 3 or 4 times more.
You are right about these TINY seeds. Most people are trading zinnia and a tablespoon of those really isn't much.
I have cleome and cosmos in several areas of my yard so there's room for scattering.
I picked this measurement because I've traded to many times and received 25 seeds, even tiny seeds like these for far larger amounts.
Let me know what you would like to trade for - cleome or cosmos (color) and I'll send you an envelope for 1 tsp. of red hobbit.
Thanks for asking about this - the seed size really matters.
Kathy
