Cool new name!!! God bless
thanks
you know you gave my heart a start when I first read the thread topic...remind me to beat your butt ....but so glad u still with us young man...so whats new with you this summer! hows the yard doing (and of course the parental units) goodness it's almost gone and school in 11 short days here...
haha yeah its sad. the yard is great. i lost the camera (the reason i havent been on much lately) in india which i need to post pictures of. my plumeria pudica has eight inflo's on it, but only 2 blooming and one close to blooming. me c. gigantea it putting up some seriously ridiculously huge ears now and the pinecone ginger is blooming
niccceeee...sounds like the yard is just beautiful....could you please come teach my kids how to do what you do in the yard for your mom LOL I should be so lucky!
haha i would if i could but i cant! i mean if i could teach people how to enjoy doing something, then i would be teaching classes and making millions, and people would enjoy biology and work and all sorts of things that are necessary tortures today
Trent...my DD is a biology major, so she says that she's 'majorly' offended, lol!! She said to tell you that sciences are the 'shizznitz'...and that high school bio was the easiest class ever:-)
Seriously, I'm all for you making millions...you'll remember the folks that supported you then, right?!
Hey Deanna...glad you're back to posting...missed you!
haha well the main reason it was so bad was the teacher! but hes in korea now so im happy! well im hoping to get into horticulture so i think that is a science too but w/e idk
I went to school for horticulture and there's a lot of science and lab work to get a hort degree...Basics like biology, chemistry and physics along with the really cool stuff like soil science and I loved my (extra) zoology class and upper level genetics. Look into requirements at a local university and see if it's something you want to do, curriculum wise:-)
yeah i took chemistry and biology and hated both so far and can only imagine what physics will be like this year... but it will be worth it when i can get paid for doing what i love. i hope i enjoy all those sciences in college...
Entomology and Plant Pathology were fun, too...I hope that you do,too. I have a feeling that you'll follow your passion no matter what route it takes:-)
what are those
study of insects and study of plant diseases
oh ok
;-))
Oh golly! I just now saw this thread, and I'm going to join Rednyr in that butt beating! LOL. You scared us! I was afraid to read it.
Get a new camera soon, OK? Wanna see how your garden grows!
Deb
i have a camera phone.... but the pictures arent that great
Calculus based Physics? Just wondering.
You won't use Physics in horticulture or at least I can't think of why you would use it.
My first year of college I was in a 5 year program with a double major in physics and electrical engineering. I'm good at that kind of stuff but it was just to boring. Switched to a business major for the second year.
im not sure
I love your name. You must be very committed and serious in your relationship with the Lord and that is a wonderful thing to see, especially in young people. I imagine that some may ask about your "name" and I hope that you take every opportunity to introduce others to Jesus. You will be in my prayers for grace and mercy in your studies and exciting instructors who make the learning fun, also about the more serious things in store for you in your life.
thanks. I do take every chance I get... Which is why I changed my name... To make more chances!
Name is very cool and timely I was just getting discouraged about young Christians and their willingness to make a public statement of faith. So, God just used you to encourage me.
Bless you always!
Susan in NC
yeah i have to agree with you about being discouraged.... but there are still some awesome christians left... some of which are my friends.
