i have never planted gourds and would love to try to grow some! i dont care what kind. does anyone have some to offer? i have sunflower seeds, datura seeds, morning glory seeds mixed colors and jack o lantern pumpkin seeds.

My first time growing Snake was about 3 years ago, one the "snake' measured 54". Now I'm trying to figure out what to do with it. I had put a kettle gourd in a flower pot and what a funny shape I got. There are so many things you can do with gourds. I always start mine indoors in peat pots then put them outside.
What color Datura and Morning Glories? I'm will to trade for those.

the morning glories are mostly pink morning glory seeds the datura i have some white, yellow and black currant swirl mixed together

Google 'Georgia Gourd Society' and you will find info there on growing gourds in you area. You might also be interested in joining a gourd patch. There is all kinds of info on the site.
