I saw this one and didn't have my camera. By the time I got back with it he was finished posing except for this shot. I don't have a clue what kind it is. The wingspread is less than 3". The color is charcoal and has blue dots on the lower end of the wings. He is perched on a Keys of Heaven plant.
Looks like a Black Swallowtail to me. Can't rightly tell for sure but based on your other post of a Black Swallowtail cat I'd say if you have the caterpillars it's because you also have the butterflies :o)
