Doing a quick check in before we head off to the fair. We checked steers and heifers in last night. We had hoped our one steer would be in middle weight class and the other in heavy weight class and we accomplished that. I've got our lunch made, pop packed in cooler and iced tea ready to go. Sheep don't get checked in till 3:00. Calf show starts at 5:00.
Can't believe it is September already.
The weather is beautiful out - supposed to only get up to 80.
Well I need to go and get to the bank before it closes to get some $$$ for this weekend.
You all have a happy and safe Labor Day weekend.
My gratitude for the day - I still have the ability to work and feel grateful for "Labor day".
