How to fix a planter

I have 2 planter jars that some one had and they died I picked the jars up at goodwill.
I would like to put some more plants in them I just don't how or what to use.

These look like fairly large jars, like a cookie jar? You could use them as terrariums. Check out some of the posts on the Tiny Gardens forum, some great looking ones.

They are lovely jars, I would only worry about drainage.

Check the terrarium forum for some good advice. Any plants that need extra humidity and stay small are good candidates. Drainage can be an issue so go very easy on water (a little goes a long way) else you might "drown" your plants. Horticultural charcoal is usually a good thing to add to the bottom of terrariums but not always necessary.
