Solar Pumps

Brown City, MI(Zone 5a)

Not sure this is the right forum for this question, if not please direct me to where you think I should post this question.

I have purchased a large ceramic pot that I want to turn into a fountain .... and have plans to purchase an even large ceramic pot for another fountain.

There isn't any electricity where I want to put them, so thought I would get a solar pump for each one. I don't need the fountain to squirt high in the air, but do want the sound of water.

I don't know where to start looking, or what to look for. Any advice on size of the motor needed? Do the kits come with everything I would need?

I don't really know enough to even ask the proper questions for help. Any advise will be much appreciated.

I have not used the solor pumps so do not know how long they would last. Places like lowes and home depot have them. I have seen wal-mart and garden centers carry them too.

Thank You tetleytuna.

I'll check them out next time I get to the city.
